We regularly undergo training to stay up to date with the latest from the cycling industry. We are ready to give you all the information and support you need to maintain, upgrade and repair your bike.


Have your bike serviced at Cycles Colin to keep yourself (and your passengers) safe,  stay comfortable and extend the lifespan of your bike. As a Shimano, Bosch and TQ Service Centre, we specialize in service and repair.

Our mechanics are up to date with the latest technology and trends. They provide  quality professional care for your mountain, road, cyclo-cross, gravel and electric bikes.

Weather permitting, you’re invited to join the Cycles Colin team to discover our beautiful region on one of our social rides! All levels welcome !


  • Summer : Tuesdays – women only rides, Wednesdays – open road rides
  • AUTUMN/WINTER : Wednesdays – open gravel rides
    For the open rides we have two groups to accommodate different levels and preferences.

CYCLES COLIN
A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY STORY


In 1974, François Ding, a cycling enthusiast, decided to open his own bicycle and moped shop in Vevey, a charming town on the shores of Lake Geneva. He wanted to share his passion with as many people as possible and offer them the best.


He chose the name Cycles Colin in reference to his siblings, as he was the youngest. He was the “little Colin". Since its was founded, the shop has evolved along with cycling over the decades. Always with the same guiding principle: the endless pursuit of quality to best satisfy a discerning and demanding clientele. “We have always sought to offer high-quality bikes and, in terms of service, to give our customers the best. That’s what makes us different!” says François Ding.

In 2015, Gilles Ding, the founder’s eldest son, took over and continued the family tradition and passion for cycling, while adding his personal touch and modern perspective. As time has passed, the shop has continued to evolve, along with cycling. Numerous renovation and expansion works have been carried out to present the shop as you see it today. Just next door, across the alleyway, you’ll find the repair and assembly workshop.

Fifty years later, the founder’s vision lives on. Today, Gilles and his team have stopped working with mopeds to focus exclusively on bicycles and e-bikes. Gilles is committed to providing the best possible service to customers while maintaining their reputation among cycling enthusiasts and experts. Cycles Colin is more than a bike shop; it’s a family story, a passion, and a commitment to quality that has lasted for 50 years!
